Zoëtry Mallorca: A Serene Escape in the Heart of the Island
As a luxury travel planner living in Mallorca, I’m always on the lookout for properties that offer something truly special. I had been looking forward to visiting Zoëtry Mallorca for quite some time—and it was well worth the wait. Set in a lovingly restored 14th-century estate just outside Llucmajor (15 minutes from the airport), this five-star hotel combines historic charm, modern elegance, and understated luxury in a way that’s hard to describe… but easy to fall in love with.

The hotel
Side note: Zoëtry Mallorca is part of the Hyatt Inclusive Collection, which is known for curating elevated experiences with a strong focus on wellness, sustainability, and refined hospitality.
The architecture is one of the first things that captures your attention. Stone walls, charming courtyards, and olive trees remind you of the property’s deep historical roots, while the interiors are tastefully updated with a modern touch. It strikes that rare balance between authenticity and comfort.

You can enjoy two outdoor pools, including one adults-only pool, all set within 56,000 square meters of beautiful gardens. There’s plenty to explore too, like a charming 15th-century windmill and a pretty neo-Gothic chapel right on the grounds (where yoga classes are held). If you like to keep moving, the private running track, well-equipped gym and tennis courts are a great way to take in the peaceful surroundings while getting some exercise.
One thing I particularly appreciated was how Zoëtry Mallorca manages to feel equally well-suited for couples seeking a peaceful retreat, as well as families looking for space to reconnect. There are plenty of quiet corners for adults to unwind, but also open spaces for children to explore.

Rooms
The rooms and suites are spread across the estate’s original stone buildings, creating a sense of space and seclusion. Interiors are soft and sophisticated, with natural tones, traditional textures, and a quiet elegance that mirrors the surrounding landscape. Many offer views over the gardens, courtyards, or countryside, and there’s a peaceful intimacy in every corner.
For families, there are connecting room options, allowing everyone to stay close while enjoying their own space. The hotel also offers generously sized suites, ideal for those who value extra room to relax or who travel with small kids. Whether you’re here for a romantic retreat or a family escape, the accommodation feels both luxurious and deeply welcoming.

Wellness and Cuisine
Zoëtry’s Pure Spa is a serene retreat meant for renewal of body and mind (available for guests 16+). The spa’s thermal‑circuit includes a Turkish bath scented with eucalyptus, Finnish sauna, sensory showers, ice fountain, foot bath and aquadome among its water‑elements, all designed to relax your senses. On top of that, there is a wide choice of massages and facial or body treatments using premium products — everything feels deeply soothing and thoughtful.
A true highlight of the property is the Michelin-starred restaurant by Andreu Genestra, where local tradition meets refined creativity. With ingredients sourced from the estate’s own ecological garden, Genestra crafts dishes that are both rooted in the Mallorcan landscape and beautifully modern.
